How do I pay my bill?

Direct Debit

Our preferred method of payment is by Direct Debit. You get the Direct Debit Guarantee and our processes are simple and manageable. Your tariff assumes that you will pay by Direct Debit. You can sign up to Direct Debit by filling in the form that is in the front of your Residential Supply Agreement or downloading the Direct Debit Form here and then returning it to us.
You can set up a Direct Debit to pay the outstanding balance on your bill every month. Simply complete the Direct Debit Form and we will do the rest. If you are having difficulties paying your bill and wish to arrange a fixed monthly amount for your Direct Debit to help spread the payments, then please contact us to arrange a suitable monthly payment.

Pay online through e-billing

If you register for an online e-billing account, you can pay online and access your account and payment history. To register, please contact us.
If you are already registered, login to your online account here.
Please be aware that paying by this method will incur extra charges as our standard tariffs include a discount for paying by Direct Debit.

Other payment methods

You can also pay using the following methods:

  • By phoning us with your debit or credit card on 020 8227 5960, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.
  • By standing order or direct payment from your bank account.

If you pay by these alternative methods, please quote your account number or we cannot guarantee that your payment will be applied to your account. Please be aware that paying by these methods will incur extra charges as our standard tariffs include a discount for paying by Direct Debit.

What happens if I don’t pay my bill?

If you have problems paying your bill on time, please contact us and let us know as soon as possible so that we can help. This may be because you need extra help as a vulnerable customer or if circumstances have changed that affect your ability to keep to your payment agreement.
If we cannot resolve the issue with you or you do not get in contact with us, we will follow the process set out in our Code of Practice on Debt Recovery.
